The Great Yarmouth & Gorleston inshore lifeboat Seahorse IV was called out on Sunday, 20th October at 14.49 after reports of a fire on a cruiser at Breydon Water. On arrival at the scene the vessel was being towed by another holiday cruiser.
The Seahorse IV sent a crew member onboard to discover a loose fuel pipe had leaked onto hot pies causing a large amount of smoke. There were two adults and five children onboard including a pregnant woman. Because of this the lifeboat crew called for an ambulance to be on scene when the vessel docked at Goodchild Marine - Burgh Castle.
